This Is What Full Service on a Porsche Carrera GT Looks Like

All too often, people are superficial about cars. They see the exteriors, the carefully sculpted bodywork and go, “oohhhhh, ahhhh, gimme that one!” without really knowing much else about that car. We’re not saying you guys here are Rennlist are said people, but lust at first sight is absolutely a thing with cars.

That’s why this post from forum user jimmyrepasi is absolutely fantastic. It gives everybody an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at a full service on Polar Pete’s Guards Red Porsche Carrera GT. The lenghs the Major Service goes to is pretty amazing, and getting the chance to see things like the clutch, the cylinder heads, the transmission, and the underside up close. After all, the guts on this thing are what help make it what some people consider the greatest supercar of all time.

This all went down in Connecticut at Porsche Of Fairfield. The shop also had two other Carreras (a red and a silver), and there’s even a cameo from a 918!
