Bring Your 911 Inside with the Porsche Writing Desk

Porsche writing desk

Both a desk and a piece of automotive art, this piece is being auctioned at the Porsche 70th Anniversary Auction on October 27.

Not only is Porsche an outstanding car unparalleled in performance, it is also a beautifully crafted machine. But sometimes we wish we could bring some of the Porsche style indoors. So when we came across this Porsche desk at RM Sotheby’s, we we knew it was a unique collectors item that captures the iconic Porsche style. It’s a great find for any Porsche enthusiast. Any yes, we really, really want it.

The Porsche Writing Desk was designed by 3 GJB 17, a company that crafts custom furniture and design pieces from car parts. The limited edition desk is made of walnut and Porsche 911 body panels. The way the wood and metal blends together is seamless, creating a bold and oh-so-sleek style.

Form and function allow this desk to be both admired and used. The Artic Silver hood opens to access the work surface, which works for writing or a laptop.

There are two drawers in the desk for easy organization. The desk is befitting of the Porsche name with the superior craftsmanship and high-quality wood and details.

It’s a piece that nicely embodies the spirit of Porsche in its sexy curves and high-end design. We can’t think of a better place to work than within the body panels of a Porsche 911.
