Andreas Preuninger Signed Rennlist Member’s GT4

As if it weren’t cool enough to have the chance to tour the Weissach engineering and Motorsports facility, Rennlist member Matt the Boatman was also given the chance to sit down and talk to head of special projects at Porsche, Andreas Preuninger.

Preuninger was pretty open with his discussion, and he even signed a few parts of Matt’s GT4. How awesome is that?

Here’s how Matt kicks off his post about the experience:

My wife and I had the great opportunity to meet and sit down for a discussion with Andreas Preuninger, head of special projects at Porsche inside the Weissach engineering and Motorsports facility. My wife and [I] were escorted into the facility by a fellow engineer Henry, who was a certified German “redneck” as he put it — a Harley riding dude with a distinctly southern accent. We arrive way back in the facility and park our GT4 next to the Motorsports garage. Mr. Preuninger was a charming gentleman, as you can tell from his videos. He made my wife feel very welcomed and comfortable. He is a “car guy” and knows his stuff for sure. I asked him how much he prepares for the interviews to insure he does not say the wrong things. His response was an emphatic – zero preparation, never! He says he speaks only the truth and from his heart.
