The color orange makes us think of pumpkins, ghosts, and ghouls. But rest assured, this 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is all treat.

Colors typically evoke certain emotions, feelings, or thoughts. Blue, for example, can signify gloom and sadness. Yellow is bright, happy, and warming. Orange, on the other hand, symbolizes a particular time of year. Well, to us at least. A time when pumpkin-flavored everything dominates our lives, teenagers try to pass themselves off as kids to get candy, and we spend far too many hours raking leaves. But this stunning 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is far from any of those spooky tricks. In fact, it’s nothing but a treat of epic proportions.

And it’s also up for sale over at Autosport Designs, just in case you needed another reason to covet this absolutely stunning ride. We know what you’re thinking – this thing looks brand new given its 11-year old existence. And you’d be right, basically. Because it’s only traveled 1,500 miles in that time span, so it’s not even really broken in yet. Which sounds like a proper challenge to us.

The first model year of the 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was a truly special car, of course. The return of round headlights and the addition of a new 3.6-liter flat-six make this “old” car look and perform like a much newer one. And these are our personal favorites of the 997 bunch, mostly because we’re fans of purist stuff like manual transmissions and natural aspiration.

This orange beauty is as purist as they come. And now it’s ready to enjoy life under a new owner. One who we hope will drive it just a wee bit more than the previous owner. Heck, if nothing else, we can’t think of a better car to take your kid trick or treating in, that’s for sure!
