2012 Panamera Sport Turismo Concept Shows Up in Spy Shots as 2017 Shooting Brake

Ladies and gentleman, get at a gander at the 2017 Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake.

Well, get a partial gander, and head over to MotorAuthority for the full expose of the late prototype Porsche, the better-late-than-never progeny of the Panamera Sport Turismo concept which debuted at the 2012 Paris Auto Show.

That’s right, Porsche is putting this baby into production. MA‘s auto-paparazzi recently snapped some low-camo-ed looks of the Turbo variant of the Shooting Brake, along with some of the upcoming regular version of the second gen Panamera.

Head over there for a good look at both cars, and then let me know if you agree with me that the Shooting Brake offers a far more striking visual than the regular model. Not that I believe there’s anything wrong with the regular model’s form (though some seem to disagree), but while both models appear very similar up front, that fin in the back just separates the car perfectly, gives it a streaking and striking feature that swiftly cuts the relative blobness of the regular model. Basically, it looks much faster.
