If you’re shopping for a Porsche and have lots of cash, the market is putting out some absolutely incredible options right now. First we had the 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster, then an immaculate 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo, and then the granddaddy 1996 Porsche 911 GT2 EVO. And now we have a striking 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo S that has a major differentiator from those previous three: vibrant color.

The body is blue, the wheels are blue, that beautiful wing is blue, the seat leather is blue, the interior door panels are blue, even the steering wheel is blue. And yes, the carpet does match the drapes. To be exact, the interior is “Midnight Blue,” and the exterior is “Cobalt Blue.” Which does absolutely nothing for my color blind eyes, but it is the only version of this model with this exact color combo, and one of two in Cobalt. It shines so well, because it’s been babied and only has 17,000 miles on it.

Those familiar with the 993s know this car has a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six that puts out 450 horsepower. That’s hooked up to a 6-speed manual that puts the power to all four wheels.

The Turbo S model separates from the other 993s with several extras like vented rear fenders, a different rear spoiler, four-tip exhaust, Aerokit front spoiler, and yellow brake calipers. Because speed! It’s a one-owner car with all the trimmings. What’s not to like? Well, maybe its $795,000 price tag
