7 Awesome Porsche Barn Finds
Here are seven Rennlist forum members' barn find stories.
1. Porsche 928 S4
Rennlist forum member kiesan posted several shots of this off-white 928 S4 who's owner was less than satisfied with the dealer's trade-in figure, so this looks to be its resting spot for quite some time to come. 2. Porsche 911T
Rennlist forum member cbracerx's barn find dreams came true when his wife went to collect some free firewood and spotted a covered car parked in a barn nearby. As any supportive wife would do, she called her husband and they got permission to take a closer look. He pulled away the cover to reveal a 1972 911T with a long hood, chrome grills, fuchs wheels, and only 35k miles. Click here for more pictures of cbracerx's barn find.

3. Porsche 911
This barn find has quite the backstory, which you can read right here on the Rennlist forum. Member tbill shared his journey to owning this 1988 Porsche 911, which was previously owned by a doctor his friend knew. The 911 had been garaged for ten years before tbill found it, and as you can see, its condition is of nearly impeccable quality. The interior looks amazing, too, showing only 27,000 miles on the odometer.

4. Porsche 924
This 1977 Porsche 924 belonged to an elderly woman looking to sell. Member pmalenfa took to the Rennlist forum to ask for advice regarding renovation and value. At the time of posting, this red 924 had been stored for 25 years with only 47,588 km clocked in.

5. Porsche 911T 930
Forum member spet808 may have found a rusty 911 Turbo (930) from 1979 that needed a lot of rejuvenation, but he found a collectible gem nonetheless. Take a closer look at his barn find right here in Rennlist forum, where he describes the 911's decay in more detail. This Porsche was apparently left out in the open for 15 years, shrouded only by a ripped tarp-like cover. Let's hope spet808 makes it shine again like it really deserves.

6. Porsche 356
Forum member jainbaby's barn find story is really a tale of perseverance. He had been bugging a man he knew about selling him his early 911, but the man wouldn't budge. Instead of parting ways with his 911, the man tipped off jainbaby about another Porsche he knew to be stowed away in a garage. It turns out that this 356's original owner used it as a hill climb car, and while he parked it in 1972, he kept it in good shape by performing routine maintenance despite not driving it. What a find! Jainbaby was lucky to score this well-kept Porsche 356.

7. Porsche 928
Sometimes, good things come to you instead of having to go out and search for them. Such was the case when forum member Lizard928 was working in his shop one day and was greeted by a man offering to sell his 1978 Porsche 928. It had been sitting in his garage for a decade due to piston problems. Lizard928 claimed he'd fix up the engine and some minor exterior paint chips, but otherwise this 928 looked beautiful when it so gracefully came into his life. Have suggestions for renovation?
