Totally random question...for those that drive out to a solid indy mechanic for servicing or maintenance, what do you do in the meantime while you wait for your car to be ready?
Naturally dealers would provide you with a loaner car, but what if you don't take your car to a dealer?
I live in SF and I've been taking my car to Sokol who is extremely knowledgeable, but lately I've been fed up with his poor customer service. Unfortunately, the other reputable mechanics are well outside of SF.
Just wondering what other people do...find a Starbucks and work the day remote?

Of the couple I go to, one has a nice wait area, the other has a rudimentary one. Both more than adequate to sit, have coffee, and read for a few hours. Otherwise, my wife follows me, and we make a day trip out of it.
