Has anyone done a self install on a DSC Module with the 3 axis accelerometer? Looking for advise or some tips on install. How much splicing and dicing am I expecting? Any help is appreciated TIA.

I've installed the DSC controls module but not one that has the accelerometer feature. The regular is pretty straight forward.

You might scare up Comanche_699 (Dan) on this. Don't recall if he did a self-install, but he did have conversations with TPC on issues he had, which were more about positioning. There is a discussion on the wiring here https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...y-tpc-dsc.html

Thanks Joe. I'll see if I can reach out to Dan. I've been actually following that thread but Tom looks to be giving more details on where to mount the unit. If anything I'll give them a call at TPC.

Thanks. I actually downloaded the instructions and software manual. Installation looks pretty straight forward on which wires to tap. How much time do you expect to install on average, 1-2 hours?

I think 1-2 hours is pretty reasonable time frame, yes. If you have any questions during the install, just give us a call.
