OC Shop Recommendations
Hi,
I'm picking up an 02 996 Cabriolet in a month that needs to have the hydraulics for the convertible top fixed, and maybe a fix for the pull cord (?). Can anyone recommend a local shop? Being my first 911 I have no experience with where to go, and I've never seen a 911 at the mechanic I've learned to trust with my Lexus'.
I live in South Orange County (CA).
Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris,
Congrats on your new 996! I take my 997 to the guys over at Trinity Autosport. Joe and Josh are incredibly knowledgeable and very honest. They will not try to upsell you on anything you don't need and are both heavy enthusiasts. I'm in South OC as well, but always take my car to these guys. Their pricing and service do not disappoint!

Thanks vintage! I'm looking forward to having the car, I think I drove it more than my father did (it was his), though I will very likely sell it for a 4S Coupe.
Have you heard much about Haydon Brothers? I found them though the approved LN Engineering shops. I went and checked them out and was impressed by what I saw. They too are in Anaheim, which is in some ways good as my office is in Anaheim.
I'll check out Trinity though.
