Default Good independent

I live in long beach. Can anyone recommend a good indi shop. Circle porsche wants close to $500 to put in a ssk in my 997.2. Any suggestions welcome.

Honestly, for $500... I'd probably just bite the bullet and do it. Your time is worth more than that

That sounds high, assuming you mean labor-only. I just did mine a few weekends ago - it's a DIY job if you are OK working with a lot of small fasteners in a cramped space. I didn't track my time but am pretty certain it was < 2 hours not the 3-4 hours this dealer is quoting you.

I would also suggest to stay away from TruSpeed in costa mesa.
