Default Had a bad purchase experience in Oregon

We found a 95 993 that was misrepresented by a local 3rd teir auto salesman. PM me if would like to know which one near Eugene, OR. Had a clean Carfax but everything else was questionable and he had no answers. Mechanically sound but needed a reseal, clutch and had some paint work done that will need to be addressed later. Steer clear of these great deals from the Eric Sheets Intl Porsche specialist.

Eric Sheets Intl or ESI in Sweet Home, OR. Definitely misrepresented the condition of the car. We've already begun correcting the problems. The engine/trans are already out of the car and resealed and all worn items replaced. We even installed an RS Euro clutch and SW chip. Here first autocross is Oct 29th with the GGR at Alameda Point.

She is repairable at least and have been told we rescued her just in time... Found the A/C evaporator core leaking and our refrigerant detector showed they installed a sealer trying to mask another expensive repair. The body shop in our building said the respray was amateur but nothing that can't be fixed and no rust damage. So now that the engine is completely resealed, new lightweight flywheel and SW chip are installed we're going to autocross her this weekend.

Turned ESI into the BBB to make a formal record and at least expose the dealer. They've been flying below radar all this time. The BBB finally closed the case since ESI would not pay for the A/C repairs. I can't stress enough the importance getting an inspection and to take it further negotiate the price of the vehicle based on what is found.

Sad to hear of his passing. I purchased a 90 964 from Eric ~5 years ago. It was a good experience and he was easy to work with.

We both knew it was a 20 year old car, and it was likely to require some maintenance.

RIP Eric
