I am a PCA member looking for a well maintained 944 S2 or 968 for week-end use and occasional AX/DE. I am not looking for a #1 concourse car nor am I looking for a basket case that has been neglected. I am looking for a solid car that I can enjoy for many years. I am also looking for an original car and not a hard core track car.
I live in Central MA and am only considering cars that are within driving distance (200 miles or so) so I can see them in person. I also have family in Northern NJ so would consider cars in that area as well. At this point I am not considering cars that are remote and would need to be transported.
I am not in a rush and am willing wait for the right car.
Must Haves
- Coupe
- Manual transmission
- Car must be located in the North East (driving distance from Central MA or Northern NJ)
- Service records
- No major body, paint, or interier issues
- No rebuilt titles
Preferred
- Original and unmolested (minor modifications ok)
- 2-3 owners
- Less than 100K miles
- Darker colored interior (really anything but Linen)
If you have a car or a referral, please send me an email.
Thanks!

My s2 meets some but not all of your criteria... And is 1/2 of your budget... Leaving you room to play or mod.
I hate to think about parting with it but I don't drive it since picking up my c4s.
It is higher miles than you want... But a great car.

This one might be worth a one way flight. I saw it at a local meet last weekend and it lives up to the ad and then some. I chatted with the owner a bit and he is a stand up guy, also has a very clean 997.

^^^^ OK, my '89 944 S2 is for sale too, 120k miles, 6 speed, Baltic blue/linen, nice shape. 2nd owner, for 21.5 years. A glut of 944s? They are nice cars, have great handling, and are a lot of car for the money.
