Just attended the Porsche NA tech tactics this weekend where the 918 was detailed and there in person.

Most amazing car Porsche has ever produced.

We got to hear it run with no cats or mufflers.. Very cool.

Sad to say, my poor opinion of people leads me to believe that the majority of these incredible cars, were bought for this very purpose. Got tons of money, have no real interest in having an incredibly performing machine, but know that the limited production will benefit their greed. Order it, buy it, turn around and try and sell it for a half million more than you paid for it. In the mean time, guys like me, that could never afford anything like this, would drive it as intended for the rest of my life.

For the guy who wants one and has the money, what's an extra 400k for the exclusivity to own something in the world that otherwise can't be purchased?

With that said, my only concern (other than being 1million short) is the front bumper. I've seen 70s American cars that had tighter panel gaps. Might want to make sure the bumper is attached properly before someone who actually has the money to spend spots the misaligned bodywork.

To clear things up a bit in regards to the dealer principal flips..
Yes, our owner ordered one for himself to enjoy and has taken delivery. This particular car was purchased from the original buyer, and at a premium over the original list I might add.. Our pricing is reflective of one thing that everyone would agree on, marketplace. All of the orders were filled and those that were not in a place to get one or waited for whatever reason now have the opportunity to own one. What's another few hundred $K when the car is at a million to begin with? It's all relative to the individuals ability and desires at this price point..
My two pennies...

Please contact me with any reasonable offers.

Even Seinfeld wouldn't go for it at that price.

This shows a blatant disrespect for the buyer of this type of vehicle. Even a multi-millionaire would scoff at the allegation of "what's another few hundred $K"

Your cars are overpriced by 30-40% - all of them I've seen on this board - the 356, the 997.1 GT3 RS, this car. It's annoying, it DOESN'T represent the market.

I too am really turned off by these recent speculators/dealers posting nothing but way overpriced cars on Rennlist.

Perhaps PNH should throw in some of that herb they're smoking with this 918 "deal"

I agree with you regarding the speculators and flippers but the marketplace defines the price. Not some dealer or flipper who decides to put a high number on it. The market may very well be $1.3M and am not at the least concerned. Frankly, I am more frustrated with dealers/flippers who pay market for a 993 and then add another $10K. Takes the opportunities to own nice cars beyond our logical and practical reach.
