Andial built 21 of these special Twin-plugged 993 Turbos at their Santa Ana, CA facility - 20 3.8's and 1 3.6 - All featured a host of improvements to the drivetrain, brakes, cooling, ignition and suspension systems. Of the 21 cars built, 19 are listed in the Andial BT 3.8 registry dated 9/14/07. As of this writing, 17 of the original 21 cars remain. A few different ECU tunes were offered for the 3.8 after completion and power numbers can vary. The original rating was 580hp. Our car is said to be producing 600hp on pump gas and 650 in the race setting

Andial had a very close relationship with Porsche NA through their joint Motorsport activities from the 70s through the 90s. Amongst other highlights, they have 6 1st place finishes at the Daytona 24 hours from 1983-87 and 1989 to their credit. The majority of the upgraded parts used in these builds carry Porsche part numbers. They were built with factory driveability and longevity in mind.

This Turquoise Metallic BT 3.8 was completed for the original owner in 2002. It was sold to it's 2nd owner in 2012. The car has been maintained by Andial and Newport Beach Auto Center. After moving to Northern California in 2012 Virtuoso Performance in Hayward, CA has looked after it. On 9/23/14 Carlsen Porsche of Redwood City, CA performed the annual oil service and bi-annual brake fluid flush. They also replaced a faulty clutch slave cylinder

The parts list that comprises the $70k BT 3.8 conversion is too exhaustive to list bit by bit, but the highlights of the Engine package are:
  • 3.8L Mahle pistons and cylinders
  • GT1 Turbos
  • 993 RS Camshafts
  • Andial intercoolers
  • Carrillo connecting rods
  • 2 map switch for pump and race gas
  • Twin ignition system
  • Prior to reassembly, the engine was balanced and blueprinted. The crank was microplished. The cylinders heads had their intake and exhaust ports polished
  • Andial modified 7lb flywheel
  • GT2 pressure plate & clutch
  • Andial upgraded transmission mainshaft w/ new 1st & 2nd gears

Suspension and chassis package:
  • Sport motor mounts
  • 14" Brembo front brakes and larger rear calipers
  • 22mm front sway modified for adjustment by Andial
  • 993 RSR adjustable rear sway bar
  • Andial Twin Turbo Sport Bilstein suspension (ride height set and corner balanced by Andial)
  • 993 Turbo S front spoiler
  • Active front brake cooling ducts
  • Andial dual temp intercooler and boost gauge custom mounted in dash
  • Delete front bumperettes
  • GT2 oil cooler in front fender
  • Kinesis K58 18X8 & 18X10 wheels

"I wanted to make you aware of a posting by a member about a year ago. I am good friends with the owner of Club Sportiva and he was allowing me to store my car at Club Autosport. At one point, he was interested in purchasing the car for the club, but wanted to gauge interest from the members. A Rennlister saw the “For Rent” sign on the car at Club Autosport and posted “Poor Andial” implying that the car was being rented out to strangers. This was absolutely not the case! The car has always been mine personally and was never a Sportiva car. Somehow, this stuff spreads like wild fire and I wanted to make sure you were aware of this"

It was listed on Club Sportiva's website, on ebay as a club sportiva rental and was in club auto sport with a rental sign for at least 6 months. It seems weird that an owner would allow that to happen to his car if it wasn't for rent.

Oh well. I trust my client's explanation. This isn't a financially motivated sale and he has no need to rent out any of his cars for extra income
