Based on the description, I'm still wondering where the added value is commensurate with the $9k increase in price.

If the car is still for sale 8 months from now, more than likely its priced to high.

I wonder if the wheels from this car are for sale? I would be interested in them if its reasonable...

Is all profit evil, or just profit on cars?

Nothing wrong with that. I doubt anybody here goes to work with there bible in hand.

The "nice wheels" were not the original SR Porsche wheels. They really mean nothing to this particular model. If you're after a 944 and aren't interested in this car as a distinctive special edition then why not look at any other 944 Turbo out there. No reason to buy a limited edition especially since you might save $10K. I appreciate this particular car being presented in as close to original shape as possible.

The buyer on here got the price they wanted. All parties satisfied. If the new seller can find another buyer who pays more, then again, all parties satisfied. Folks, this is how a free market works. And the success of the flippers is instructive - ie if they can get thousands more for the same car in the same timeframe, then we are selling our cars under market value, end of story.

From my experience it is the "enthusiasts" that will PPI the car two times, and then come up with a last minute "family emergency" or "wife does not approve" excuse, while the dealers wire the money and arrange transport / Fedex title. Bull**** walks money talks.
