So I met Mooty over the weekend and he is I believe 100% pure no nonsense. Having read some of his prior posts, some a bit over the top, I was even more fascinated to meet this guy who when I spoke to really does know his stuff. Mooty is one of those guys who presents everything out there and doesn't care whether you have an opinion of him or his cars. If you like his car you will meet him at his price. Simple. I can understand where Fusion is coming from also and for what the RS4.0 is worth now I feel it's ok to ask questions but there's a point when a seller can sense after so many questions that you're not ready for the car. On top of that there's a level of knowledge you should already have when purchasing a 4.0 that you should more or less already have. Not to insult any Porschephile here but the 4.0 market is not a Cayman market. People who buy 4.0s are people who have either owned a GT3 or have extensively tracked a 911 and understand why the 4.0 is designed the way it is and understand not to waste a seller's time with frivolous questions. For instance asking whether the 4.0 still has a warranty, why is it priced nearly as high as a CGT, is it watercooled? Proper questions from someone genuine would be, mileage? Has it been tracked? DME? Accidents? Wiggle room... so if you're asking the former you're not going to get the sort of answers you'd expect... just saying...
