I purchased the car from the 3rd owner in August 2011. The gentleman lived in Michigan and knew both the original and second owner. I do not have a Carfax, but I do know that the first owner had the car for 9+ years, second for 3+ and the third for 4+ years. The car had 54162 miles on it.

The major items done prior to me purchasing the car are listed below. I have receipts for all.

When I purchased the car I had a PPI done by V&W Imports in Roseville Mi who had serviced the car for many years. The PPI report was given to me over the phone and they said it needed nothing and that the person I purchased the car from had always taken good care of it. Not the best PPI, but I liked the car and trusted the seller.
After I purchased the car I has Steinels in Cleveland do a post purchase inspection. I do have a copy of that I can share if needed. They found the following items, and performed the listed repairs.
Passenger seat will not move back, needs switch. Has not been fixed.
Will need rear tires soon. Replaced all four tires with new Bridgestone Potenzas from Tire Rack, 4/19/12.
Cruise is inoperable. Has not been fixed.
3 drain tubes missing from trunk. Repalced
Front air guide on control arm broken from contact. Not repaired.
Rear bifold torn on spoiler. Not repaired.
Mobil One oil service, replace both filters.
Valve covers leaking. Replaced both gaskets.
Flush and bleed brake and clutch.
All four wheels refinished. They are perfect.

This past November I had the evaporator, drier and expansion valve replaced due to a freon leak at the connection, engine belts, Mobil One and the cabin filters changed. It has been parked in the garage since.

This was my 4th Porsche. I have owned a 987 Boxster, 997S 911, 993 Targa and then this GP White 993 Coupe. I am looking at a 997.2 next.
