Devil in the details on the motor. We shall see. One article stated the emissions compliance equipment adds $10k to price of truck. On an already overpriced truck. F150 brakes are barely adequate now. Put a big trailer behind a diesel and it's not going to stop. Probably smarter to get the new SD250

My personal guess is it's strictly a fuel economy play. Something to compete with Ram ecodiesel. With increased power in the 3.5 for '18 (375hp/470tq) it'd take a lot for a 3.0L diesel to bridge the gap to the SD. Plus the tow/payload rating of the f150 seems maxed out to me (from someone who tows with one).
