What is wrong with this picture. As removed from trailer.
So, replacing it with electric gear. Bull Dog. Not even close to a simple bolt on solution. Bull Dog instructions say to just weld on supplied brackets to your trailer. Steel brackets do not weld so easily to an aluminum trailer.

We have to fabricate mounting brackets to install them on trailers here. It sometimes does seem that some of the part/accessory companies forget trailers are being built out of materials other than steel these days.
Started welding up the new brackets. Should have both done and painted by tomorrow. TIG cuz I am wearing shorts and don't want hot berries finding my legs of sneakers.
