Looks like someone is getting a window! Say, what's that big chunk of metal up high between the studs on the curb side wall near the rear gate?

Indeed I finally decided to do a window.
I believe that chunk of metal rear curbside is reinforcement for the spare tire? You might have it in a different location due to your air tank and/or hose reel?

I'll be damned! You're right!!! I hadn't even notice the spare tire mount bracket in all my photos. I had assumed that they screwed (or riveted) it in place, same as they do for the gas cylinder brackets.

This past Sunday I was schooled in the finer points in how to back up a trailer. I hitched up an open trailer and spent the better part of a glorious warm & sunny afternoon practicing and getting tips. My coach grew up on a farm and has some impressive skills. I thought it would come pretty easily... but I was wrong. Half the time I was trying to turn the wheels the wrong way. I was also told to slow down. That was strange, because I thought I was crawling as it was. I was not I learned (after slowing down). The open was a challenge. It was not loaded, so it was not easy to see the outer corners. Despite the advice from my coach, I was only using my mirrors (thinking there was no sense looking out the rear window with an enclosed - nothing to see). At least with the mirrors, I could usually see at least one side of the trailer and sort out which way it was pointed.
I've got a lot of learning to do. I'm going to have to spend a whole day practicing backing it into a parking spot! Delivery day can't come soon enough.

Finally an update for those of you who have been breathlessly waiting...
I'm in limbo as far as my scheduled delivery date. At first I was told it would be a 1-1/2 week delay. That new date went by and still no update. Now told it will be the 2nd week of April.
I'm prepping for my 2nd event of the season and have to resort to renting a trailer. Argh!!!

Don't bother practicing at all.
Merely wait until you need fuel on a busy Sunday returning from the track. Pull in to a busy station, idle to the Island, fill up...and realize you don't have room to pull out forward.
You'll get all kinds of advice as you try to back out through the line behind you.

Wow, I feel bad that your trailer is delayed Lar. I just got mine with upgrades from TPD today. I'm very excited, everything looks great.
I have the same mount you have for the Reelcraft hose- do you know what size bolts I need to mount to the studs, and what couplings do you need to run the hose from the tank to the Reelcraft? Running out of time before THill...
