Default Fog lights not aligned.

My 85 928s3, passenger fog and running light pointing too far to the right, I see there is an Allen with an eccentric, can't see any other adjustments, anyway loosened the allen and cant get the fog light assembly to move, what am i missing, hope I don't have to pull the front bumper since it just came back from paint.any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

There are 2 screws for adjustment, if you cannot see them easily try removing the surrounds from blinker/foglight.

It sounds as if the bumper is pushed back (shock compressed) The light assembly is mounted to the aluminum bumper. Are the lights fairly flush with bumper?, or are they a bit recessed. Picture might help.

They are recessed by about an inch or so the turn signal is half exposed pushed back.

New shocks are in order. Front bumper cover needs to be removed, shocks replaced. I have done this on one of my cars, it is not too difficult but time consuming. It also allows access (when bumper cover off) to address light squirters which are plumbed behind cover.

Where are you located? You may have someone near that can assist.

Well passenger side is compressed. There is also something not right with the driver side light, it seems a bit off also.

I did mine years ago, but before I removed and replaced shocks I tried to pull the bumper back forward. I am not positive but it seems I removed front light assemblies and used a chain and come-along. Just cannot remember but it only worked on one side and had to remove the cover.
