Hi Guys,

Talked to dealer today and can't believe his words, he said that GT3RS produced about 9000 units wordlwide!
Is it really possible , or I hope my dealer don't have enough information I really hope so!

If I was a dealer buying a car I would say that the production number is very high.

I don't believe that the dealers knows. I don't think they even know how many cars are delivered to your country.

I just can't agree with that. Too many smart people on this forum say that number is at least 4K high.

According to Loess who has a pretty good handle on the number the total WW is about 2500 to 3000 or so with 1500 in U.S.

Remeber productoin was only ramped up 100 units from the previous productoin numbers since March 2016. The production numbers since that time seem to tie int that from my reading of the info from Loess.

How many RS's have you seen in the wild? I've seen 0 excluding mine. If there were 9000 built you would see them around at times.

If the number is really 9000 offer to buy one from him at MSRP and see what his answer is. Good luck with that.

+ 7.500 units worldwide is sure! (That was the units until September)
Probably 9.000 units are correct.

Sept - Dec productions is the end. Estimate roughly 60 per month to US gets you to around 1500 total US and total WW will be 4000-4500 for the 991 RS .1 .

NA production used to be around 50 % of WW. Seems to be getting closer to 40% of WW production lately.

By the end of production the RS will be around 6000 units. Vanilla GT3 finished at around 3100 so that's around 9000 GT3s/RSs

This is surprising. So there are a lot more GT3 RSs on the road than GTSs?

I believe I have a pretty good handle on North American cars and I see around 1400 right now. Perhaps there are 5000 or so in some of those ghost cities in China. I can't confirm that.

My cat says 5000 total, but I think it's less. We argue a lot.

The official number from dealer looking to buy RS from you = 9000
official number from dealer selling RS to you = 147

In Moscow we have 5 RS , and 3 of them are from sale , no one buying them ;((( brand new

About production number I am not sure about 9000 but I have seen a lot in many countries.
France , Monaco, Dubai , also in other European countries
I think in Russia only RS is about 10+ or more.

But I hope that it's not 9000 units wordlwide. But even if it 7500 units it's also a lot to my opinion . That car must be max 2500 not more .

there are at least 30 here in Toronto, probably closer to 100 and yes we see them on the street and track quite regularly, although most of them just sit in private garages as well as the dealers horde them up here in their underground hidden garages.
