Sounds not dissimilar to the Ford GT on downshifts and over run

Various people had said that the Ford GT's flatulent popping is the sound it makes on downshifts, but I think it's just an engine mapping thing, probably to keep the turbos spooled. I spent most of Petit Le Mans in Porsche's hospitality tent above Turn 1, and both Ford GTs - regardless of driver - made the same sounds as they downshifted and then powered out of T1.

The GTLM 911s were the best sounding cars I've ever heard this year...this sounds like ***.
The GT3Rs were ok sounding but nothing like the RSRs.

Sounds more like TT V6 to my ears. Sacrilegious, I know, but I have heard that sound before. Hoping for flat 6 but I find the sound to coarse for a flat architecture. Hoping I am just flat out wrong.

They are supposed to be there all week, swing by and listen for yourself.
