Default Medical travel insurance. Suggestions?

I am heading to the UK for 14 days and Yes my Visa does offer some sort of coverage (TD Aeroplan Visa) I'd like to purchase some extra... RBC offered me coverage but I felt it was a tad on the pricey side.

Ask any travel agent. Allianz is one of the big underwriters but am not sure if they sell directly to the public.

I only use RBC. Never had to pay out of pocket and then try getting reimbursed. Most places will bill RBC directly.

I usually see how they stack up using the following:

https://www.kanetix.ca/travel-insura...tm_matchtype=e

Then check the top 3 for potential shortcomings using this one:

http://www.travelinsurancereview.ca/

Safe travels

My company covers me and my family for travel around the world but I still always buy CAA travel insurance. Had to use it once on a trip to Abu Dhabi...bills racks up quite quick and used the CAA insurance instead of work and was a simple process with money received back within 4 weeks...

Ended up going with RBC, Just bought medical coverage which was about the same price as online. Got a few $ off since I am already an RBC client. Last time they were trying to sell me a complete package.

Our daughter's partner got sick in Bogota a few months ago, and he was hospitalized. His RBC claim was processed with no hassles.

It was his first trip to the Third World.
