I'm in the market for a cover, as I just bought a 911.
However, it is a 1999 996 Cab. Will this fit really well?
Also, how does this compare to Coverking's offerings?
I really want a soft inside, so that if wind get in between the car body and cover, it won't scratch or wear the paint down

I'd say it would fir the 996 CAB without question. The NOAH material is some of the best material you can get in a car cover. Coverking, Covercraft, and CCC all source their NOAH material from the same company.
To limit the wind impact you need to order the tie downs as well.
