The Targa was delivered this morning! The driver Chris was really nice, along with everyone else I dealt with at Isringhausen. Their dealership does a great job. Car is exactly as described and in flawless condition. Everything is perfect. Car looks brand new. Here are some delivery pics if anyone is interested. Now I will put it in the garage until they stop putting salt on the roads! Thanks again for the leads and help from everyone here on Rennlist!

Congrats! Go drive it. Don't worry about the salt, it washes of.

Much smaller production numbers in the 911 chain.

I was considering the Blue stripped down targa 4s. Why would it have needed a new clutch at 7xxx miles? Something about that just doesn't seem right.

There were very few 997.2 Targas sold. Most Targa buyers seem to be willing to lean towards luxury rather than performance. Combine this with the fact PDK is such a good transmission compared to the Tiptronic.

I called the dealer a few weeks ago when I was still looking and asked if they new anything about the clutch replacement. They didn't. They said the DME scan looked fine, which is good to hear, but the lack of info on the clutch replacement is not ideal.

Wow, I'm hooked. That German Brown Targa is great! Almost got one the other day but was gone before I could...

Anyone else see one for the taking? (I'd be interested in 4 or 4s, as long as it's manual)
