The car is in great condition inside and out and properly maintained and repaired as needed. I have service and repair records for years that were passed on to me.
I am moving to Italy and selling this and a couple of other Porsche's before we move in December, otherwise I wouldn't be selling it.
If a 968 is a car you are seriously considering and you want one that has been very well maintained and cared for, this is one to think about. Clean CarFax showing 6 owners including me.
Prior to me owning it, it was mostly in CA and Texas with some time in Illinois, South Dakota and Florida.
Since I have owned it, it has been in a garage and not driven on roads with treatment for inclement winter weather. No rust anywhere!
I bought the car with about 93,700 miles and drove it to Virginia in November of 2015. In March of 2016, 95,587 miles, I had the car looked over, serviced, including oil change to Amsoil, and brake flush, and a couple of items were replaced, the hood struts and caster blocks. The cam chain tensioner was also inspected with an observation of "some pad wear noted but not significant."
I also had an XPEL Clear Bra installed on the bumper, full hood, fenders, rockers and impact area behind the rear wheels. In addition, I added the XPEL Headlight protection kit to the headlights and fog lights.
Timing Belt, Balance Shaft Belt, Alt/AC Belt, and PS belt were replaced May 2014 at 86,806 miles along with a new battery, starter and spark plugs. Water pump replaced at 90,309 miles. Clutch and related components were replaced at 61,605 miles. Clutch Disc, Pressure Plate, Throw Out Bearing, Clutch Fork Shaft and Needle Bearings. Dist Cap, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, and Rotor were replaced at 80,072 miles.
In 2006 the rear spoiler was damaged and had to be replaced along with the right taillight. Some repair work was done to the passenger side of the rear bumper as well. I can't see anything to indicate it was more than a minor parking lot issue as mentioned to me.
The car has 17" Wheels, H&R Springs, and larger sway bars according to records and the local shop that checked the car out did confirm the sway bars are larger than stock. These additions combined with the limited slip improve the handling and performance for the 968.
Also the windshield has 2 chips, both repaired, within 1/2" of each other! See pics.
The interior is in very good condition with no cracks in the dash, seats are incredible with the drivers seat working but a little slow forward and backward. Everything works in the car, sunroof motor, A/C & Heat and all switches.
The aftermarket stereo includes satellite radio and iPod connection and works and sounds great. Note pic showing the Rennline Glove Box Hinge Repair Kit, that comes with the car.
The car has the spare, compressor, owners manual, and tires have plenty of miles left in them.
This car drives wonderfully and is gorgeous. The paint in some areas, see roof pics, does have a little fade. Also, see pic of underneath, it looks as though the car may have slipped off of a jack or something as the floor behind the driver is moved up a little.
Some desirable options have been brought to my attention.
220 - Limited Slip Differential
LT - Partial Leather in Black
398 - 17" Cup 2 style wheels
418 - body side molding
437 - full power driver's seat, 8 way

Looks Stellar, Since they had the Cam covers off to inspect the Cam Chain Tensioner Pads, they should have changed them, only a $125.00 to $150.00 shop charge to do so. Original Clutch? GLWS It should sell quickly .
