It is an amazing vehicle to see up close. Gooding and Co just auctioned off a black one in Amelia island at 1.2 million. It had more miles and wasn't in as good of shape as this car.

The black car at Gooding passed on the block at a high bid of $800,000 (published information on HammerTimeLive if you weren't there at the time) and sold afterwards for $850,000 all in.

I thought it had sold, my fault. It was in rough shape to me for being a super rare collector car. There was a baseball size dent in the front bumper - it wasn't deep but it was noticeable to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but consensus seems to be that this car is a no go in California?

As far as the owner has been able to find. I believe there is a way for Canepa to modify the exhaust to pass smog, but I've not confirmed that yet.

I am really glad to see that this car has been driven. It's not just sitting languishing. Imperfections show use. Good stuff.

^true. It can be modified enough to drive in cali, but the owner doesn't want to modify it that much.
