Brand new BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S tires installed 11/7/2016, recently installed Precision Motorwerks fuel lines, Alpine CD-MP3 stereo with Apple Connector, battery, and battery ground strap, along with during the past 2 years: new aluminum CSF radiator and expansion tank with new cap, rear brake rotors and pads replaced, CV boots replaced, air pump, new transmission mounts, and new Grand Prix White paint over the entire car, along with the rear spoiler. Side body moldings were removed during the new paint application.

Approximately $14,000-15,000 of service receipts since 2009, not including the repaint in 2014 (no receipt), and 1989 Porsche S4 Sales brochure is also included in the sale.

Last oil change with Mobil 1 15w50 was done at 86,730 miles with Mann oil filter in November 2015. Last water pump and timing belt was changed in 2009. Driveshaft-flex plate was checked to be within spec.

Dash and instrument pod have minor cracks. Driver side bolster needs recovering. Carfax records show rear end accident in Florida in 1999, but I have no records of what was damaged nor any repairs needed.

The car has a Viper alarm system installed with remote locking capability. In addition, it will also come with Futomoto drain valve and lock (original oil pan plug is included).

Included with this sale on Rennlist will be parts that I had gathered for the S4, when I had plans for this car prior to my changing direction. Over $2500 in the following parts:
1. Ben Genovese powder coated parts (intake, metal oil filler neck, water bridge) that I purchased from fellow member
2. Brand new S4-GT tail lights from fellow member
3. Newly purchased Laso water pump with plastic impeller for later cars
4. Barely used black RMB
5. Complete set of brand new Beru spark plug wires
6. Never used Bosch fuel pump

Spreadsheet for all service records available upon request.

Title in hand. Car's mileage will continue to slowly increase due to occasional use to keep the engine healthy. Please initiate contact through PM or email (my username on yahoo).

FWIW if you put that new coated water bridge onto the engine ,
make sure to remove the powder coating under the securing bolts so a solid ground is achieved .otherwise the temp 2 sensor will not be read properly GLWS

Default White 928

Hello Mr Lee,
Nice white 928. I am a former 911 owner now wishing to try the Porsche I always wanted, 928.
I am looking for a "daily driver", not an investment , per se. a solid car that can drive 250 - 300 miles every other weekend for fun road trips.
You seem to be more than just an "enthusiast". a fellow "Porsche -o-phile".
So, howcum it hasnt sold yet? price seems fair for a 90K car.

There has been a shift in 928 money from later models to earlier ones. There are of course money for the concours and for the low mileage pristine samples for the S4 (GT and GTS don't count, since they will always be desirable), but they commend somewhere north of $20-30,000.

This car is by no means perfect, but I feel that I had priced it fairly and with maintenance in mind (water pump and timing belt). For some, they feel that the car is not worth more than $8000. Not needing to sell this car for financial reasons, just clearing out some garage space (hence, i also sold my Weissach).

Mr Lee :
What about the molding on the side that was not replaced after painting? Also, it looks as if some of the rubber around the rear hatch door placement on the car body seems to be missing???

The previous owner did not replace the side molding after the repaint. There is no evidence of missing rubber from the trunk. All is there.

Final price drop

$12,000 for everything! All the extra parts included. At least $3000 worth.
