I have a 996 spare wheel for my 987S. I can confirm the skinny space saver 105/95/17 will fit the 987 front and rear hubs and can be carried under the front hood. The rolling radius is slightly smaller . The wheel I have as a space saver is part No 996.362.130.01 which is a 3.5" wide by 17" diameter with a full size tire of 105/95/17. The offset is ET 19.

For the 987 (fitted with 19" wheels)
235.35.19 tires = 323.55 rolling radius 2032.92 circumference
265.35.19 tires = 334.05 rolling radius 2098.90 circumference

Porsche official space saver for 987/997
185.60.17 tire = 326.9 rolling radius 2053.97 circumference

For the 997 (fitted with 19" and 295 rear tires)
295.35.19 tires = 344.55 rolling radius 2164.87 circumference

996 Space saver
