Default Powdercoating Rims

Greetings,

Does anyone recommend a shop for powdercoating rims (SUV) in Vancouver/lower mainland that does a reasonable job for a reasonable price?

Thanks very much.

Cheers,

Mark

Try Plastidip
Lots of references in RL if you do a search...
One picture I found was of a guy that used playing cards stuck between the wheel and tire so the wheel could be sprayed with the tire still on...very clever

Thanks - yes, familiar with the product but this is for an SUV that will see some "abrasive conditions" and so am looking for something more durable.

Cheers,

Mark

Brilliant....saves a lot of masking I haven't tried this yet but will sooner or later, great way to protect the rims for winter driving

Try rainbow powder cost in coquitlam. I had numerous sets of rims done by them. Awesome job.

Green's, Panther and Nubrite. Or have the tires removed and call anyone of the many powdercoaters in the lower mainland. Or give us a call and we can handle the whole process for you.

Cheers

FYI, I recently used Vicious Coatings in Port Coquitlam to powder coat some wheels. There are some blobs and bubbles on the wheels I got back, which they blamed on the wheels for some reason that I didn't understand.

Powder coating wheels is an art.
You gotta go to someone in the know.
Greens is the best wheel refinished in the lower mainland. They will give you expert advice.
