Corresponding with Bruce Gregory, he's going to try to make it. We could use some instructors that know their way around!

Cheers

One event per month seems about right. Amazingly more than that and I start to find it hard to stay on top of work, family, car maintenance, etc.
For a few years I did 30 days/year. Still not sure how I managed to get my work done. Now about 22 seems right.
Rick, if you retire you can do 30 (ask me how I know)

Should put your hand up Matt, I bet you have more experience at CMP than a large majority of the present day Rennsport Redrunners.

Back to the OT, I checked the latest Club Reg roster and, barring the usual lurkers and hiders, there are 15 folks signed up for this. 3 of whom are driving 400 miles from the US, each way, to make this a success with us. Carm is apparently representing Ottawa Rennsport members singlehandedly.

It's still early, but let's get cracking svp on making intentions known by registering online now.

Cheers

Good job there, Matt
We happily haul 400 miles each way to drive at Calabogie. It's that good.

Hi guys
Nice to see the interest in Calabogie. Every year I ask Michael, when will we go back to Calabogie?
Michael's reply, Maybe never!!!! (lost soooo much money the last time we went)
But now we're back, and I can't wait. It's all up to us to make it happen every year.
Cheers
Dan

Yes at least a couple more from Ottawa will be there. Love this track. I know 5-6 guys (Ott/Mtl) going but like most people everyone signing up late - similar to the later season rennsport events at LCMt. I have a big cottage, 7 bdrms, that I have reserved from a friend and have a line on another cottage as hotels are difficult. Will share link/info here soon if anyone looking and will be at May events to share info.

As said by others this is a great track and not something to be missed. It's a little further from Montreal but such a unique track experience that hopefully everyone goes.

Can't wait for start of season and praying for no rain!!

Default Calabogie accomodations

I am looking at renting my friends 7 bedroom cottage for the October DE event. Lots of space for a group and we will have space given the size of the place. I have also attached links to other places for rent that my friend provided to me. I'll be at LCMT next week, #803 Mark, if you have any questions.

FirstLink is his place

Here are others close to track

Thisone is in the Village of Calabogie, right near the pub and it is simply a bighouse. It has a main house and a separate wing that can be rented as wellso you can rent 6 bedrooms or 8 bedrooms. There are no extras in terms ofamenities but it is clean and works well if youjust want t place to sleep andeat.
