It was a great 3 day event Rick. Erik was there giving me shade and advice throughout. Very patient guy. Luckily the rain held off on day three and a good time was had by all.

Parade laps were held at lunch on Sat and Sun to raise money for Alzheimer's.
From what I hear Joe Lapin really did well at the parade lap pace.

I did not see any thongs in the paddock but that's probably a good thing.

I believe we will be seeing you in September?

I think it is so cool that he bought my trailer and awning and I get to sit under it (the awning).

Was a really great 3 days and very well attended. I just love this region and track...

I'm also glad that I didnt see any thongs at the track, although when Dwane saw me in a pair of shorts with long white socks and commented on how sexy I looked I did say that he should have seen he one I was wearing ! Also had a nice young lady ask "would you like me to hold your funnel" as I was going to put some fuel in the car. I thought Tom was going to fall over....

Joe did well on track as well! He learned something very important...something a "blue driver" should have in his tool box.(sorry for being so brash Joe) We had a great conversation at beer time(from what I remember) and he's got me thinking about an issue that I will be discussing with Chris. Joe, come get me in September for some pointersand I will jump in the car as well.

Ya, only got to see Eric for 15 seconds at a time; 5 in my mirrors, 10 sniffing Anastasia's exhaust. Da dude is fast. That awning sounds like a great after 5 gathering place, beer funnels and all.
Special thanks to the rowdy guys and gals in the black run group for a fun and "exciting" last session, ooh the 4-5 car play was The flaggers gave up on waving the blue flags after the first 2 minutes.

It was a blast - lots of fun with great camaraderie, on and off the track.

A highlight was the announcement of probationary RennSpoon membership status conferred on Stan The Man (official RennSpoon name to follow).



And yeah, the last black run was fun.

September will be EPIC.

Rubbing in that LAST run because I was a wussie and bailed out, huh ? Hopefully someday us Americans might be considered for or granted "provisional" status for membership....

I cant tell you how much I really enjoy running with you all.... I think a lot of us south of the border feel the same.

You fellas ought to journey down to VIR in late October with us (Erik, Dave K, Jonathan K, sometimes Scott K, and me).
I know it's a long haul but(13 hours for me, split over 1.5 days) but worth it.
