Pellicule / clear vinyl - help
Je cherche faire intstaller une pellicule pour mon jouet de piste - avez vous des suggestions dans la région de Montréal ainsi que la meilleur marque de pellicule?
Looking to have some clear vinyl protection installed for the track toy, any suggestions for good places in the Montréal area and recommendations on best product?
Getting ready for a great DE summer

I used Jolifilm last year for a full front end wrap of my car and was satisfied with the results. He is meticulous and seems to stand by his work as going back for touch ups was not a problem.
He just moved into a new location not far from the Orange Julep on Decarie...

Merci, for the suggestions, everyone. All considered Jolifilm pricing is good. I have heard that Xpel products have better transparency and shine.... anyone have experience with this product over 3M Pro-series?

I used Protex in the past. Not sure they are still the guys.
Materials have come a long way since the 3M I installed 5 years ago. No regrets.
Best,
Matt

It doesn't matter how many layers you put on , the Saran Wrap is not going to work. If you want something cheap try this

If you track your car (and play on track) 10-15 days a year the PPF is pretty beat up after 3 years or so. Hurts a little to spend another $1500-$2000 to get the PPF redone for a few scuffs. Trying to find an installer that will do full front ends in the lower thousand dollar range as well as touch up service(example: only replace film on bumper) as a maintenance item.

Hey Franck, was just going to comment on the PPF to your car. Protex did a very nice install and Xpel is an amazing product.
Side note-When we see each other, I will have you on a strict maintainance schedule.

A lot of owners love clean/shinny cars.

Based on informal research to date, the Gen2 products, 3M ProSeries and Xpel Ultimate are far superior to earlier films, however most of the positive comments regarding yellowing, clarity and self repairability say Xpel is the way to go. Not withstanding the product used, the more important consideration is the quality of the install.
