BUYING GAS WITH VISA CARD IN USA
For years, we have been frustrated with gas purchases in the USA. The pump demands a Postal Zip code, and rejects our Canadian format. We would need to enter the station, and have the attendant complete the purchase.
SOLUTION!
Use the 3 numbers in your Canadian Postal Code, and add two zeros. It Works!

USA 65400

I have always used 60609 which was the zip code for widely advertised government publications

Truth be told.
I learned of this technique from a highly qualified, techno savvy IT expert.
Betty, the almost toothless cashier in a Chevron station in rural Georgia, was my mentor.
