2016 DE dates?
#2
Good question. I checked clubregistration.net and they're not up yet. Signed up for Watkins Glen with Niagara region PCA and Mosport (CTMP) with UCR.
Who usually runs the Calabogie & Tremblant days? Haven't run Tremblant before, and Calabogie only once with BMW club.

From past years, most Rennsport LCMT DE's have been the same week as the Classic Race weekends , i'm guessing the May DE would be May 23-24 , June ??? , July would be 18-19, August is usually a three day event and Sept would be 19-20 , i'm sure Stephane or Derek will post the dates soon enough.
Rennsport really puts up a safe and enjoyable event for everybody
You're going to love Tremblant and hate Calabogie as it will roast your tires in one weekend ... lol
Cheers

At the Montreal Christmas dinner, Mike Delaney circulated the following in respect to DE dates for LCMT in 2016
23-24 May
20-2 June*
18-19 July
26 -27-28 August
19-20 Sept
I believe the *asterix for the June date has to do with the coordination with the Jay Peek PCA reunion

Calabogie is more of a technical track... more tire wear then other tracks but a very fun track when you get all the corners "right"
a must try in my book!

Calabogie takes patience and skill to gain a degree of proper pace.
Anyone saying they "Hate" Calabogie simply may not yet have acquired the proper tools.

Hey,
Calm down boys ...
I won't comment on your statement gunner because i don't know you but i think i'm OK with driving Calabogie ...
Nowhere do i mention that i personally hate Calabogie , i've DE'd there and raced there and it definitely is a challenging track but i never said i hated it !!!

Sorry wildcat077, I may have misconstrued your comment to mean you also hated Calabogie. But then by the same token, I never said that you personally could not drive it, just those that may actually hate it.

You told the dude(sorry Jonathan) he will HATE Calabogie compared to Tremblant because of tire wear. Yeah, Calabogie goes through tires quicker then Tremblant but it is super technical, that is why it is fun!
