Joe, I know you are old and don't know what's in style so we are here to help.
Gold wheels on a white car is the right thing to do. it's what a body in white Cup car should look like. It's what a black, silver, white, red or blue car.
If you think gold is too much, try a darker bronze color. Or if you are faint of heart, grey wheels (a nice pewter) but come on, have fun with the thing and put something different!
