Post Seasonal Brain Flatulence
Decided to start a new post, and rattle some pots!
The C4S is resting quietly. The car was greatly improved this season, with an upgraded suspension and Cup tires. I had a final glorious ride through Morin Heights, Weir and Lachute, on an epic, sunny Tuesday.
Now, I feel oncoming symptoms of the Rennsport malaise! I feel a low vibration in my bank account, a sense that a new quest is about to commence, and a feeling of unrest. Will my contentment and gratitude be supplanted by greed and wanton entitlement? Will I fall victim to 'speed consumerism'?
I awaited the F1 final with great anticipation, though I maintained a high level of cynicism. The spectre of the evil Sith master, Ecclestone, always suggested a conspiracy theory. The double points on offer were a ridiculous manipulation, though it certainly did stimulate spectator interest! With all the telemetry on board the cars, sabotage seems far too easy to discount. We will never truly know if Rosberg's ERS was really 'off'.
I was happy that 'right won out', and Hamilton is the champion.
Looking forward to a reunion at the Xmas gathering.
