Between 180,000-200,000 miles, it's an estimate cause the odometer has been broken for a long time.

Ok, je vais parler en "parisienne" comme dirait Dwane... Y peut même le dire comme il le faut en anglais....pffff

Qui a dit "break it" ?

Tu viens roder ton moteur au DE de Septembre (ou même celui du mois d'août) ?

Still ironing out the bugs, I still don't know if I'll make an event this year. That engine rebuild busted my budget.

Steph,

Engines really do bust a budget ... lol ... yours sure looks good though !

I'm going out for a road test tomorrow morning and if all is well, will probably
make a trip to ICAR and see how the new engine feels !

Cheers
Phil

3.6 install final report !!!

Took the car out to ICAR in Mirabel last night for a spirited session to sort out the eng temps and possible leak issues and all went well, perfect temps and no oil leaks.Sure revs a lot quicker than my old 3.2 and the torque is there at lower RPM's,should be interesting at LCMT !

The fiberglass bits are fitted, although my painter is on vacation so i spray painted them flat black until he gets back and matches them with the rest of the car.

What a crappy track though ... bumpy as hell,no reference marks and the sunset clearly in your eyes making it almost impossible to judge where the track is at certain points ...
The track being concrete also made it very slippery as well in some corners where you have paved asphalt and concrete transitions.

Hope to see y'all at LCMT at the end of the month

Cheers
Phil

That's good news. Congrat.

Now you need to correct that stance, rear is slightly too high.
A Phil corner balance special will be required.

See you at the end of the month.

Ian,

All four corners probably went up at least one inch due to the fiberglass bumpers and interior insulation removal !
I'm going to put it on the scales this week and do a "Felipe special" corner balance ... just hope i don't have to reindex the &*^#%# rear torsion bars ...

Cheers
Phil
