If its your first time at WG, you need to stay at Seneca Lodge for the experience. Great historic bar. I prefer to call it the Rustic Inn. Rooms are clean and inexpensive

DE = Driver Education or Advanced Driving Education
The purpose of Driver’s Education (DE) Program is to provide a safe, structured and controlled teaching and learning environment. The program is designed so that the participants can improve their driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynamics and high performance driving safety.
Participants will experience first-hand the capabilities of their own Porsche in a controlled, closed-circuit environment and will gain the skills that will enhance safer vehicle operations in all driving situations.

Thanks!
If you're planning on spending any time in the area be sure to take in the trails at the Watkins Glen State Park. They begin (and return) in the village. If the parking lot is full just continue west a 100 metres and take the road to the other entrance. Even though the gorge meanders, it pretty much follows a straight line. We found no issues with line-ups or parking at this 'quieter' end. As well, no visit would be complete without making a wine stop or two. I'd recommend Magnus Ridge which is 5-10 minutes north-east of the village.
As for lodging, the track's own website has a link to a variety of hotels.
