I'm really tempted by this, if I can install my new wastegate and get it working properly, I'm in.

I know, I know! I'll miss you guys too (and I'll miss the driving even more )

btw, I determined that the clock LED wasn't getting 12v because the contact strips for the socket were worn. So, I removed the bulb holder and soldered the LED directly in place. Works like a charm! I definitely want to make a project out of replacing all the dash-bulbs with LEDs. It made a tremendous difference for the clock, I can just imagine what a difference replacing all of the other bulbs will make!

Where did you buy these LEDs? I need to pickup a bag of them and get started.

Glad to know that, and being a led it will last a lot longer.

I got them all from superbrightleds.com

I know CT does not have that one, I went for mobil 1 5w30 instead but I would prefer 20w50 also.

Let me know if you find it.

It was a great day and had a lot of fun I met Michel and his wife, Michel it was a pleasure and thanks for the pointers when we swapped places, it was a fun ride and it's clear that you have many years of experience.

Nick was there also with his gorgeous 951, Nick it was blast trying your car, it is rock solid, literally !!

I just took a few pictures, I'll upload a couple tonight.

How about you, wasn't there a drive up to Tremblant? How was it?

Wow! It looks like there was a large turnout. How long was the wait time for the autox course?

I was in Ottawa instead of Tremblant It was quite a busy weekend, but not much Porsche driving.

The story goes like this...there was three 944's adding some visual value to the crowd of japanese cars at Sanair....My E-Stock, automatic 944 NA (143 hp), sadly alone in her class, the C-Street Prepared 944S2 (208 hp) of Sysgen and the "monster", the red Steet Modified 951 (350 hp) of StyleLab. Guess who was the fastest of the three......yes, that stupidly slow automatic almost everybody on Rennlist is having a good laugh at ! Seriously, I had a very good time with you Stephane and Nick and I hope we can meet again in '08. I know we have very different schedules though but we never know ! Here's some pics (and, well....a 911 is a 911....) :
