No offense taken After you beat me and Nick !! I was surprised to learn that you do the Auto-X on 2 and not on Drive, I actually never tought about it.

Did you see the results! You palced 7th in raw time !, congrats

I'm just a bit confused on which score to look at. There are the raw times, final times and indexed times. I think it's the indexed times that actually count for the points, right ?

So indexed, you placed 22nd, I placed 42nd and Nick placed 61st on 63

Don't worry Nick, you didn't have very good tires and as you've seen in the fun run, your times went way down. So you could have placed a lot higher but it was your first time.

Ciao
Stephane

Stephane, we were only 8 competitors in all the "stock" classes and I was alone in E/S, so that doesn't mean a thing...But you're right, they use that indexed time now to sort out the overall results, so I ended up 22nd out of 62. As you know, in Montreal and Quebec City almost every competitor has a lot of mods on their cars ! Considering I didn't have my big bar in the front and the rust on the driver..... I think 2.5 seconds could be shaved from my time. We'll see in Devens for sure, at least there will be plenty of cars in my class (MR2's and Miata's).

perhaps, but I would want to cover the car with some kind of masking tape to protect it from those nasty pilons. I also need to watch my speed, I don't know if you saw me spin out there in the slalom, lol

Ya I saw you, that was a great show, you even got applauded

But in lapping you have no pilons, not the same thing at all. Lapping and Auto-X are two completely different things. Come to tremblant next monday, tuesday or wednesday and take a peak, I'll be there

Good to mask your car for lapping too. Stone chips aren't cool!

I finally got my front Weltmeister sway bar installed ! The car stays so flat in highway exits, this is ridiculous ! First time in my life I get to experience this on a personal road car.....am I happy ?

Next step : Devens National Tour !

Hi Stephane, Devens is June 7-8....That bar is like minus 2 seconds on Sanair's last event, I'm convinced !

Last time I drove a car that stays as flat as this in the turns I was racing Formula Ford's !!! I haven't driven a ZO6 'vette though....
