March 12th 2007 - The site is back up. At this time you can view the videos, but you cannot upload new videos. I will let you know when the encoder is back online.

The only bug I ran into w/ the whole process was after the upload, I didn't receive a confirmation. It gave me a script error instead. I uploaded three times and the same result. Later when I checked my videos, all three were there.

What file format were the videos that you uploaded?
I will increase the size of the videos down the road. I find it's too small to fully enjoy.
I’m happy to hear you notice the difference! Right now the videos are encoding at approximately 1mbps. I’ll have to monitor disk space and encoding times for a longer period to determine whether or not I can increase the bit rate.

Each file was a 1500 kbps wmv. One was a 720x480 and the other was 640x480. Playing the wmv's on my computer, they look identical (as they should). Playing the streaming vids, the rennpost vid looks sharper and sounds better.

[FIXED] AAC Codec Support
The WMV encoder should be working fine now.
MOVs are supported, however certain MOV files with AAC audio are not supported at this time. I will recompile the encoder to support AAC audio.
