Porsche at Arundel Castle - Sunday 7th August 2011

The Sussex region of PCGB are holding their summer car show at Arundel Castle, West Sussex on Sunday 7th August. All are welcome, not just Porsche Club members and if you bring your Porsche, you can park up in the castle grounds. It's a very laid back affair, you can picnic, visit Arundel, socialise or just talk Porsche with fellow enthusiasts if you like. The idea is to get as many Porsche models as possible parked up in the castle grounds.
Arundel is a great place for the family, plenty to do from visiting the Castle, to shopping or the Wetlands Trust nature reserve. There are plenty of places to eat if you don't want to bring a picnic. It's also Goodwood Breakfast Club that morning, so why not come and join us on your way home.
We have a couple of suppliers displaying cars - Paragon, Parr, Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex and More Than Polish.
It is important that you arrive before 11:00 to gain access to the castle grounds and you will have to stay until 16:00. This is because the Castle will not allow moving cars and the public to mix. There will be a window of opportunity to gain access between 13:00 and 13:30 if you can't make it before 11:00.
The cost is £5 per person, per Porsche car, up to a max of 2 people in a car (£5 each). This is redeemable against full entry ticket price into the castle itself, so no extra cost if you make the most of the attractions available on site. Additional passengers will need to pay full price and payment will be taken at the gate. There is no need to book tickets, just turn up in your Porsche at the lower gate entrance for access to the castle grounds. We regret that any non-Porsche car or late arrival will be asked to park in the public car park close by.
If you're interested in a trip out, we'd love to see you and your cars. Perhaps you could post here just to give me an idea of how many to expect. We can park up to 200 cars, so there is plenty of room for you!
