Hi everyone not been around for a while
Monday wrote off my 944 thats the end of a 9 year relationship!

Desperate for a stopgap until insurance sorted out so does anyone know of a cheapy 944 for about £4- 5k?

Perhaps a PCGB member could have a quick peruse of this months rag for me and see if there is anything interesting . I'd be very grateful thankyou.

hey keep the shiny side up

Thanks for the reply BooBoo I am a lapsed member of the PGBC hence asking for a member to look in the Post for me.
Anyway I have another car now so alls well that ends well.
I have to say one response in nearly 3 weeks is a pretty poor show for us Brits part of the reason that I no longer subscribe to the club.
Take care Jeff

Peanut

Most UK Rennlisters sit on the 964 and other designated boards, this one has been a bit hit and miss.

No - there are not many responses or messages on this section of the forum - Try the main USA ones - also www.911uk.com has a large and enthusiastic UK owners forum and you would get an answer there often within the hour!.

Sorry Peanut - only just looked in this bit f the forum...like christer said, most of us are in the 964 (and other) sections.

Glad you've found a replacement - sorry to hear about the other one. Were you hurt?

Hi Peanut,

I have posted a few messages on the UK board but it seems to be really slow. The bussiest of the 944 boards seems to be the 944 Turbo board. Thats where you will usually find me!
Did you buy the salvage for your old 944?

Hi first time I have looked here as well, PCGB members have their own forum so a lot stay in there now. Titanic email lists very good for 944 in the uk as well - though ot can be high at times.

Oh and if it hasn't been done worth getting the cam chain tensioner checked - they wear and were not part of the official maintenance schedule - though a good specialist should check it.
