coy carp
Hi,
Sorry ,
here is the address:
The 'Coy Carp' (formerly known as The Fisheries) Coppermill Lane, Harefield
streetmap link
I have to say I enjoy the setting more than the food (its good but not great).
There is also a big spacious car park.

I can't do Thursday now as I have to attend the meeting I mentioned.
Sally has also arranged for us to go out Friday, so sorry chaps, no can do this week.
I have called Rob O'meara but got his answerphone, so assume he is out of the country at present (either work or holiday, who knows).
Which ever pub you do decide to go to can you post up details or a link to where it is please. I'm not sure I know where the Coy Carp is...
Cheers,
John.

How about Monday the 16th of August ?
It does not have to be the Coy Carp - if it is unfamiliar or inconvenient. I suggested it as a starter - ie to stimulate suggestions...
For reference the address is
Coppermill Lane, Harefield, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB9
It is a pub near Maple Cross/ Harefield.
Junction 17 off the M25.
Here is a link to a map that gives a better description than I would manage in a month of Sundays. It is a pdf page . It is actually giving directions to a company nearby the pub but the copy carp is clearly marked. I have no idea what the company does - but they could have come up with a better name.

Monday 16th and the Coy Carp work well for me. I remember it as being easily accessible from the M25 and having a large car park with out too many white-capped Max Power types.

Hi guys,
John - I just got your message. Believe it or not I was in hospital following being stung by a wasp of all things.... I won't go into the details however I had to go on an antibiotic drip for two whole days. I got out yesterday afternoon. I'd love to join the guys for a beer on Monday - I'll bring along the M5 for inspection. I'm seriously missing my TT, having sold it to 911 Virgin for a basement price. See you then guys.

Terribly sorry people.
Only just got in from work so its too late for me to be heading up there now.
I tried to post from work but it seems the internet connection is playing about again.
Sounds like they need an engineer on the job !
If you lot organise a meet again I'll try to make it then. Sorry.
Rob, sorry to hear you were unwell.
I've had no response from Steve Wall so will give him another mail so he's geared up for the next meet.
Cheers,
John.

Hi Guys,
Sadly, only two us made it (Brian and myself) and I only went because I saw that Brian had said he was going. Coy Carp is still a reasonable pub and is both convenient for the M25 and, most importantly, has a large car park!
Hopefully, we'll get a better turn out next time. Is anyone going to the Porsche meet at Brands?
Cheers,
David
