Default 928 Restoration

Hello
First time user; I need your help!!!

Finally got around to restoring a 1982 928S. Completley stripped the body work for respray. I am now looking to replace the two aluminium extrusions that fit around each of the door window openings im not talking about the trim but the extrusions that are a push fit on the lip of the window openings which actually hold the window rubbers in place. (Original extrusions damaged whilst being removed)

Secondly i am after all window and door rubber seals i have sourced them from a company called "Forest Fine" does anyone know of a cheaper source?

Any help appreciated,

I don't have a 928 but I have heard that these guys know a thing or two about 928's:

Paul Anderson on 0781 666 8088 or at enquiries@928spares.co.uk

Hope this helps.

Hi Stv951

The car has been resprayed i started this project with the intention of keeping a full photographic record the car has been resprayed with out the aforementioned record being made, The work left to do is completley refurbish interior, uprate brakes, re-fit all glass with new rubber seals, refurbish and fit doorcards and as far as the body work is concerned re-fit nose cone and rear end bumper with all assosiated electrical work i have purchased tear drop mirrors

A replacment automatic gearbox has been fitted and there are a couple of small oil leaks on engine which i will attend to when the the restoration is complete .

I will post current photos and i will be keeping a photogtraphic record from now on.

regards ray
