Any northern Rennlisters fancy a get together, perhaps on a Sunday.
I was thinking of a meeting in the morning with a run out perhaps through the Dales with a stop for lunch somewhere.
I live in Harrogate, to start things off.

Hi Scouser, thanks for the reply. I can't believe the lack of interest on this forum!
You only have to look at what the guys stateside are doing & there's always something going on.
How come there's 30+ people viewed this post yet only one with any interest in getting together for a natter & a blast!!
Oh well I suppose there are only a few thousand 911 owners up here in the north....can't expect too much!
Lets see if we get anyone else interested, perhaps I'll put a post on the main forum.

Its not that we aren't interested, I just don't want to break it on a pothole around Leeds.
PS We have lots of them in Liverpool as well, but I usually remember where they are ...just before I hit them!

A run round leeds is not quite what I had in mind!!
I was thinking more of a blast through the dales roads up to the lakes stopping for lunch somewhere.

Just thought some other 911 owners might actually want to drive their cars on proper driving roads rather than just posing round town!

My 911 for one, is driven & will be again this weekend on the type of roads they were built for!! (IMO) :-)

I 'll keep an eye on this, but my free time is very limited (and my wife is disabled with MS which makes things difficult if we don't know just where suitable toilets are, etc.)

Whether or not we make it, the 964 board has regular runs to North Wales which any Rennlisters would be very welcome to join. I'll post here next time I organise one, which shouldn't be too long.

I'll be bringing a small group of Porsches up to North Yorkshire 23rd-25th April, for some driving in the dales. some of the PCGB members local to the area will be joining us on the sunday for a drive and lunch stop.

Hey John, Is that Wikid911's (Dave's) white 911 there by the lake?

I was out in North Wales at the weekend (offa's dyke trail at Bodfari). Weather wasn't marvelous. Great drive and walk though.

I would be very interested in any future North Wales runs you organise.

Also, anyone into metal detecting? I found some great saxon coins last weekend. Great fun?

Sorry I couldn't make it. Pitty as I love Malton too. I recall a trip there a few years back during the Foot & Mouth outbreak. Village was empty.
Hopefully make the next run.
