I was at Parhaus1 Saturday and learned that Porsche North America has signed on as a sponsor along with The Collection. Currently 230 car are registered and it is rumored that Magnus Walker will be in attendance

Just checked: Yes to in and not out til it's over. The good news is that you have a great, safe place to park. Breakfast in AM, snacks later. Fun all day long. Magnus will be there with haircare tips!
Update: I just registered; it's a good thing I have 2 weeks to clean and polish the car. Gotta have it pretty for Magnus.

Anyone know what the situation is for Spectators ? Admission Fee ? Times ? The only info I can find is relating to registering your car. Id like to go , and encourage other friends to do the same, however I don't want to register my car.

Tomorrow is Detailing Day I'm skipping the Collection's Blackpoint Marina run, but we will attend the Biltmore party tonight. My grey beast is in no way shape or manner even remotely a show car - I just wanted to ensure a safe parking spot.
But I will clean her up and do the polishing bit. Hoping to meet some other local RLers.

Here are a few pics. The line to get into the car show area was incredibly long. But once finally in, the array of cars was outstanding. More to follow off a real camera-these were iPhone snaps. Rica was there, but didn't recognize other RLers. I'm sure a few were present.

DRT brought in some incredible cars to say the least: 959, 918s, 9XX Turbo /s, 9XX GT2/3/RS, Singers, RWB...etc, but there were a lot of amazing vehicles that didn't make it into the actual event. We got to the event around 8am with the hope of displaying the RSA but after an almost hour of waiting in the pre-registration line and barely moving we opted to join the dozens of other participants by parking outside the event. There were many incredible Porsches in the parking lots adjacent and it was a bit of a shame due to the time it took to get cars into the event. One of our friends showed up a little after 7am and they waited nearly an hour. The concern for cars and owners overheating in the S. Florida heat was true and we even saw a few owners pushing their overheated cars in line...Apart from the excessive line / delay, I think the event was very unique and kudos to the organizers for the turn-out and perhaps this enthusiasm will be taken into account to make the following year a bit smoother.
